Chiropractic Adjustments
Spinal Adjustments are the most common form of therapy used
by Chiropractors.
Chiropractic Adjustments are a highly specific thrust
focused towards a joint that is not moving properly.
Adjustments are a highly effective treatment for any pain
originating from the joints or muscles of the body. Numerous scientific
studies have shown Chiropractic Adjustments to be more effective
than other therapies used to treat similar problems.
Contrary to popular belief, Adjustments can also be
performed on non-spinal joints; such as the wrist, ankle, or shoulder - for
example.
Active Release Technique®
Active Release Technique®
(A.R.T.®)
is an advanced, movement-based muscle technique aimed at eliminating
scar-tissue. Injuries may not always be apparent, and scientific research is
finding that scar tissue is most often the result of Repetitive Strain
Injuries (thousands of tiny injuries within the muscle that accumulate).

Therapeutic Exercise
An underestimated consequence of pain is how it weakens the muscles in
the painful area. Often we tend to ignore this an only focus on the pain.
What happens then is called an incomplete recovery. Weak
muscles will set us up for future injuries to occur without warning. This is
best displayed by someone with Low Back Pain that bothers them on-and-off
for a period of years.
At Conrad Chiropractic & Wellness, Dr. Shane R. Conrad D.C.
has two years of advanced training in rehabilitation exercise. Add that to
over ten years of experience as a certified personal trainer, and you've got
a knowledgeable professional who can treat your pain, and help correct the
muscle weaknesses so that it won't come back!
X-Ray Facility (On-Site)
We believe that standard X-rays are the most important part of your
Chiropractic examination. We follow the philosophy that:
"To see is to know. To not see is to guess."
You can rest assured that we will not guess when it comes to your
health. For your convenience we offer an on-site X-ray facility to save you
valuable time, and money.
